Heather taught secondary language arts for six years before broadening her teaching as a preschool and elementary homeschooling mom. She currently teaches middle school language arts at Community Christian School and serves as an administrative assistant at Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). At Harvest, God continues to stretch and grow her while using her gifts in music and children's ministry. Joel and Heather have four children, ranging in age from 6 to 13.
