Palm Sunday Service On-Line

4/2/2020

Hello Harvest Family:  As the scattered Church instead of the gathered Church these days we see how God is using our Church to spread the good news and to show the Love of Christ to our contacts we all have.  God is always at work and He desires us to join Him in that work.  Jesus said in Mark 16:15 ,  "And He told them, 'You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere'.  (LB)

So many of you have shared our first two services with others and as a result it has gone out to many more people than our normal Church Services.  Instead of a message going out to 150 or so it has gone out to 10 times that many.  Keep on sharing these services and we will keep trying to make them as meaningful as we can.

This Sunday I will be leading us in doing communion as we normally do the first Sunday of the  month.  If you can prepare by having crackers or bread and juice so we can all partake together it can still be very meaningful.   Our scattered Church can still be breaking bread together in this way.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Thanks for remembering to give your offerings faithfully to support our ministry.  March giving was very good considering we were missing meeting together for two of those Sundays.   Some have stopped by with their offering, others gave on line at our web sight and others mailed their gifts to us.  Thanks Church for being faithful in this way.                                                                                                                                                                                                        When we can come together again as a Church I hope we can make that our "Rally Sunday".  Perhaps we can have a really big celebration of coming together again.  Perhaps we can have a barbecue and pot luck dinner after our celebration service and games for the family and kids.  Just a special time of appreciating each other and the benefits of being the gathered Church again.   So many of you have mentioned how you have missed the fellowship of the Church.  Let's pray that this pandemic will end soon.  But in the mean team stay safe by following the guidelines set our by our Governor and our President.                                                                                                                                                                                                             If you have any needs please let us know so these needs can be cared for.  "May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace."  Numbers 6:24-26                                                                                                                                                                                                   Pastor Curt
